Will be looking for my postcard from the edge. Website is a work in progress – send me some pics!
Hey People!
Just got a report from the development office on where we stand with sign-ups so far — great to see so many names!
And I just have to share that the tally for contributions to our Class Gift so far is…. $1987.77! Just ten bucks over the perfect number! But of course we’re shooting a bit higher, so join the party!
Looking forward to seeing you all! Unfortunately Caroline can’t make it this go-round after all, but that means I can make it to the class dinner on Friday night. See you soon!
Best
Don
Cross posting from Facebook. Just trying to get a count of Sopranos vs Altos for the class song. Want to know where my efforts would be most useful!
I’m an alto Marcia! Are we going to practice?
I have not quite wrapped my head around how this is all gonna come together…. Howard IS coming, and he might (or might not) have some energy about leading us??? I’m hoping we can all bring a wiling spirit and see what kind of experience of our song we come up with!
Hello Everyone! I’m not on Facebook (what a Flintstone eh?) BUT want to thank you all. It was so much fun for sure. To all those who waited with me for my ride not once but twice, I thank you with all my heart. We had a lot of laughs only to find out the “lurker” was waiting the whole time in a rental car busy playing video games not seeing us either! Talk about missing what’s right in front of you… Chara texted me to say many of you wonderful folks waited and walked her home too over the years and how this reminds her of us helping each other to make it home (referring to the spiritual home as well as the physical one). All of you should know that in your own incredibly special way you have helped me on my journey. My gratitude is forever.
“We need to have people who mean something to us; people to whom we can turn knowing that being with them is coming home” (don’t know who wrote that).
Best wishes xo
Marion
